Interview questioning and content strategy

Typical interview questions include:

Interview questions about behaviour: On the idea that previous behaviour is the best predictor of future behaviour on the job, the candidate is asked about prior behaviour in various settings. Learn more about behavioural interviews and see examples of behavioural interview questions and responses.

Situational interview questions are similar to behavioural interview questions, except instead of focusing on a previous experience, situational interview questions focus on a hypothetical circumstance. For example, in a behavioral interview, the interviewer might ask, “Tell me about a time you had to cope with…” “How would you handle…” the interviewer asks in a scenario interview. Find out more about situational interviews and see some sample questions and responses.

Interview questions for resumes: This line of questioning focuses on your resume’s content. “Tell me more about this position and what you did,” the interviewer says, referring to the résumé as a guide. Again, knowing your Resume is the most significant way to prepare for the interview.
