Do you put your birthday on a CV?

Never put your birthday on your CV (also commonly called a resume). Employers and hiring managers can discriminate against you by putting your birthday on your CV, either because they think you are too old or too young for the position they are trying to fill.

We also recommend that you should not include the year you graduated from high school or college in your CV. Hiring managers can easily use your graduation dates to calculate your age.
